V-Funnel Apparatus

The V-Funnel Apparatus is used to evaluate the flow time of freshly mixed self-compacting concrete.

This apparatus is used to determine the V-funnel flow time. The test is not suitable when the maximum size of the aggregate exceeds 20 mm.
The apparatus consists of a stainless steel V shaped frame fit with a watertight sliding gate and supported by a frame to assure the top funnel horizontal.
