Vacuum Pycnometer, 10 L. capacity (Yale / Rice Test Pycnometer) (GMM Apparatus)

Vacuum pycnometers are professional testing equipment that enables rapid and accurate analysis of asphalt and bituminous mixtures in a laboratory environment. The device is widely used to determine asphalt content, aggregate bulk specific gravity, maximum theoretical specific gravity of uncompacted bituminous mixtures (Rice Test), and the percentage of air voids in compacted mixtures.

Thanks to its transparent structure, the testing process can be easily observed and measurement accuracy is increased. The vacuum system helps to obtain reliable results by effectively removing air from the mixture.

This method is not suitable for asphalt mixtures with porous aggregates that have a water absorption rate higher than 3%.
