Liquid Limit Device (Casagrande)
The liquid limit device is used to determine the moisture content at which clay soils pass from a plastic to a liquid state. Defined as a point where two halves of a soil sample flow together when dropped 25 times in a specified manner using a Liquid Limit machine. Th device consists of: removable brass cup, cup adjustment crank, blow counter, metal grooving tool and hard plastic base complies with the related standards.
